You don’t need a six-month study to know your product’s circular strategy direction
You need three questions.
It sounds too simple.
And that’s exactly the point.
The direction — whether circularity should come through:
- design
- use-phase elongation
- material recovery
- or a combination
— is often determined by a handful of structural things about the product that you already know.
The difficult part is seeing them.
And then making them happen.
Decades of take-make-dispose thinking have trained us to look at products through the lens of waste, rather than the value they still retain.
Strip that lens away.
Ask the right three questions.
And the direction starts to show itself.
Not the finished circular strategy. The direction.
Where to look first — before you spend a cent on a detailed analysis.
I built this approach on an established strategic framework from Harvard Business Review and more than 15 years of practical experience in the industry.
But you shouldn’t take my word for it.
Run it on your own product.
Three questions.
Two minutes.
One product.
It’s on the MIDORI360 homepage: Direction Finder
